Terms and Conditions

These terms govern sales made on mirvonoshop.com, a shop operated by Mirvono Limited. Placing an order means you accept them.

1. Who you are buying from

mirvonoshop.com is operated by Mirvono Limited, a company registered in Hong Kong with its registered office at Flat 2304, 23/F, Ho King Commercial Centre, 2-16 Fa Yuen Street, Mong Kok, Hong Kong. In these terms, “Mirvono”, “we” and “our” mean Mirvono Limited, and “you” means the person placing the order. Contact: contact@mirvonoshop.com, +1 (914) 431-6522.

2. Ordering

Every order placed on the site implies acceptance of these terms. Adding items to the cart is not an order: confirming payment is an offer to buy, which we acknowledge with a summary email. The contract is formed on dispatch. Mirvono may decline an order in the event of a previous dispute, suspected fraud or unavailability, in which case you are charged nothing.

3. Products and descriptions

We describe every item as precisely as we can. Each product page states the material, the dimensions, the weight and, where it applies, the capacity. Those measurements are taken by us and are accurate within normal manufacturing tolerance, which is wider than you might expect for ceramic, stone and solid wood.

Photographs are representative. Colour rendering varies between screens, and natural materials vary between pieces: the veining of a marble, the bubbles in a concrete casting, the tone of a glazed stoneware or a travertine are never identical twice. That is not a defect.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars, all taxes included. Payment is due at the time of the order. Accepted methods and the handling of your card details are set out on our Payment and Security page. We may change prices at any time without affecting an order already placed.

If an item is listed at an obviously wrong price because of a technical or human error, we are not obliged to sell it at that price. We contact you, offer the correct price, and cancel with a full refund if you would rather not proceed.

5. Delivery

Tracked shipping is free. Orders are prepared within 24 to 48 hours and delivered within 3 to 7 business days, under 10 days in total in the great majority of cases. Full details are in our shipping policy, which forms part of these terms. Times are estimates: a delay can only lead to cancellation after a formal notice has gone unanswered for a reasonable period.

6. Withdrawal and returns

You have 30 days from delivery to return an item, as set out in our returns policy, which also forms part of these terms. That window includes the 14 day legal right of withdrawal. The refund is made within 14 days of receiving and checking the return.

7. Guarantees

Items carry the legal guarantee of conformity and the guarantee against hidden defects. A conformity defect arising within the legal period entitles you to repair, replacement or refund at no cost to you. These guarantees apply regardless of our 30 day commercial returns policy.

We are liable for foreseeable losses resulting from a breach on our part. We are not liable for unforeseeable losses, loss of profit, or the consequences of use contrary to the description. Nothing in these terms excludes our liability for personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or in any other case where the law forbids such an exclusion. Where our liability is not excluded, it is limited to the value of the order concerned.

10. Intellectual property

The text, photographs, layout and graphics on mirvonoshop.com belong to Mirvono Limited or are used under licence. Reproduction, republication or commercial use without written permission is prohibited. Sharing a link is of course fine.

11. Use of the site

You may not use this site for unlawful purposes, attempt to gain unauthorised access, introduce malicious code or place fraudulent orders. We may refuse service, close an account and cancel an order where we reasonably believe that has happened.

12. Reviews

A published review must be your honest opinion based on your own experience. We publish reviews whether favourable or not and we do not edit their content. We remove anything unlawful, abusive, off topic or containing personal information. We do not pay for reviews and we do not accept reviews written for payment by a third party.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it; the date at the top of the page shows the last change.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong. Nothing here deprives you of the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence. If a dispute arises, contact us first: most are settled in a few emails.

15. Severability

If any provision of these terms is held invalid, the rest remain in force.
