The cookies this site sets, what each one does, how long it lasts, and how to refuse the ones that are not essential.

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file a site stores in your browser. It lets the site remember something from one page to the next, such as what is in your cart. Some cookies are essential to the shop working. Others are not, and those are the ones you can refuse.

Strictly necessary cookies

These cannot be turned off: without them the shop does not work. They are set by WordPress and WooCommerce, the software the site runs on.

Analytics cookies

These tell us which pages are read and which are ignored, in aggregate. They are only set if you accept them in the banner. If you decline, they are not set and the site works exactly the same.

Changing your mind

The “Cookie preferences” link in the footer lets you change your choice at any time. You can also clear cookies from your browser, in the privacy settings of Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge. Clearing them empties your cart and signs you out, since the necessary cookies go too.

Most browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting. There is no agreed standard for how a site should respond to it. Since we do not track you across other sites anyway, our behaviour is the same whether you send it or not.

Cookies set by others

At payment, our processor may set its own cookies on its own checkout page for fraud prevention. Those fall under its privacy policy and are strictly necessary to process the payment.
