Merino wool, not acrylic sold as wool. Merino fibre is about 19 microns across, below the threshold where wool starts to itch, which is the difference between a throw you keep round your shoulders and one you leave folded on the sofa.

Care and cleaning
- Hand wash in cold water with a wool detergent, or dry clean.
- Dry flat. Hung up wet, a 1 kg wool throw stretches under its own weight and does not recover.
- Never tumble dry. Merino felts and shrinks irreversibly.
